Anoxia matutinalis sardoa is a beautiful coleoptera in the Scarabaeidae family, endemic of the Sardinia Island. Can be normally seen in the meridional region near the coast, in the sand. It is mainly active in the early summer. Similarly to many other insects, the Anoxia matutinalis sardoa is attracted by the light.

In sardina two species of Anoxia matutinalis are known to exist: Anoxia matutinalis sardoa and Anoxia matutinalis corsicana.
