Calomera littoralis fiorii is beautiful Coleoptera, voracious predator and excellent flier. It is an endemic specie from the Sardinia island. It can normally be seen near the beach, on the sand. It eat small insects and larvae. The female lay the eggs in the sand, where they remain until they hatch. Is is mainly active from March to October during the day. When the temperature drops (in the evening end during the night) the Calomera littoralis fiorii search protection under the sand.
