	the forest creaked in it's

	throat and the crease

	the din 
	the noise

	a rain drop slapped 
	a leaf and he 
	saw with pure 
	clarity the 
	gentle roundness 
	of her 
	stomach as

	blade. 

	she broke him. 
	he heard the 
	[ shatter ] 
	when she spoke 
	the words, the 
	white teeth like 
	(fangs)(claws) 
	as her voice lilted 
	methodically.

	he giggled and saw 
	the shadows creep 
	even further from 
	his heart 

	he put her eyes  
	in his 
	pocket and 
	fell 
	asleep.
