This is my first issue of Imagizine and I hope to be able to do as good a
job with it as Lunah did for the past three years. We would all like to
thank Lunah for her dedication and hard work and wish her the best.

Code & World Update
===================
Imagica is continually growing and changing. A world update is anticipated
some time this month. Look for several new zones, interesting mobs and fun
items.
Immortal Promotion
===================
In March of this year, Metgod was promoted to level 97 because of his
dedication and time spent with code for Imagica. He still is the Asst.
Master Builder, and will continue to help Lunah with houses as well.
Mandos was also promoted, to level 96, as a Spellmaster to work on the
spells and skills in Imagica.

Rumour has it that a rich merchant gained the rights to build
a new town where now only the ruins of Rome lie. It's said
that the merchant paid quite a hefty amount of money for this
privilege. One might wonder what the merchant is planning to
build. Surely nothing can replace the glory of old Rome.

It would appear that the charming half demon Tamlin has been
sighted smiling at a young lady NOT named Florine. One might
begin to wonder if the young man has forgotten all about
Florine in her absence and sought distraction elsewhere, or
what is going on?

Rumor has it that Rhapsody has children! Triplets
even! But who are they? And where are they, for that
matter...

A child has seemed to have joined the ranks of ADD.
Dressed in pink satin and her head adorned in golden
curls, she seems pretty harmless, but that seems to be
far from the truth. Rumor also has it that she is the
daughter of the Lord Fido.

The Blue Bird Bar that can be found in Ivy Grove was named so by Lunah (she
helped the barkeeper set it up) as a tribute to LadyXera. She comments by
saying that the bird is definitely blue. (Apparently this is some long
standing argument between the two, whether the bird was blue or purple.)

The REI team has added two members to their ranks. These new members are
not immortal but have joined the team with the title of 'Roleplay
Enhancement Mortal'. Amaranthys and Blip have already proven their worth
with the submission of several objects and mobs that will be used to enhance
roleplay in the near future. Being mortal players, they will give the REI
team a fresh perspective on what other players are looking for.
The team as a whole is working together with quest team on the next roleplay
week, the theme of which will be 'Midsummer'. Roleplay week is anticipated
for the middle or end of June. Keep an eye on the Imagica website
(www.jimagica.net) and the quest board for details as we get closer to that
date.

A new world update is in the works with a few new zones as well
as some older zones updated. The goal for the next world update
is the end of May.
Metgod is working on updating the Imagica Building document
since it's quite out of date at the moment. However there is
so much updating to be done that we don't expect this to be
completed in the nearest future.

A clan challenge is currently underway in Imagica. SoS, ADD, and DIE are
building zones for a chance to win an extra clan item. Building began on
April 1, with each participating clan including at least 1/3 of their
members in the planning and building processes.
Each zone will be 75 to 100 rooms and must be in some way related to the
clan that builds it. They will be judged by an immortal who is in no way
involved in any participating clan as well as by a jury made up of one
member of each of those clans. No clan member will be allowed to vote for
their own zone. Judgement will be based on originality and creativity
rather than skill in building.
The challenge will end on June 1.

The Quest Team has become a bit smaller with only a couple of
active Questors. For this reason we've had to start holding
quests only once a month rather than once every two weeks.
Together with the REI Team we are also working on the next
Role Playing week. A date has yet to be set, but it looks
like the mid/end of June.
