Fool the car authorities

The last years, the government has found someone new to pick at, namely 
people who enjoy driving around in their own car. Everything is our 
fault, it seems, we only share it woth the tobacco companies. 

Above all, the government shouts about how much exhaust we leave when 
we drive around. Ofcourse it's only a crappy thing they hide behind 
in order to come up with even more rotten taxes to put on petrol. 
Think of this : a normal man who drives around in his car until his 
death won't make as much exhaust as one aeroplane makes when going up 
from the runway ONCE. And then, we are the bad ones. Oh yes, because 
we are not in the position to bribe the government in order to put 
the blame on someone else. 

Well then, to the main point here. Lately (and possibly for a while 
longer in other countries) there has been a control that you have to 
take your car to every other year. Most people hate this, and hate it 
even more if you like to modify your car or if the engine is a bit 
worn. This is because, if you have a new car, it has to comply with 
certain emission rules, meaning the exhause cannot have more than 
a certain amount of this and that crap. 

Well, if you have problems getting your car through such a control, 
you can simply mix up the fuel with some alcohol. That way, the engine 
will burn cleaner and the suckers will not complain about your car. 
Ofcourse, this is only possible if you have a petrol engine. I would 
not use alcohol in a diesel engine, as it would probably ignite too 
early and almost crank the engine the wrong way around. But petrol 
engines will not suffer from this trick. If it does, you must have 
some really strange engine. Remember that before you could get leaded 
gas, it was common to use alcohol in as an anti-knocking mixture in the 
fuel. In some countries, the government even demanded that the fuel 
companies used some alcohol made from potatoes in petrol, to support 
the farmers. Anyway try the trick if you dare.
