Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil Playstation 2 USA front cover.

THIS TUTORIAL COMES FROM "DREAM TEAM 2K1" JAKEBLUES
THIS RIP TUT IS FOR THE US NTSC RELEASE.

VERSION 2.0

Here is what you need to rip Klonoa 2

1. Game to copy the files.
2. Dreamcast dummy file maker
3. cd dvd generator (i used v1.20)
4. iml2iso
5. cdrwin (i used 4.0 beta)
6. hex workshop.
7. update ps2 jampack w/ playable klonoa 2

let's get started shall we.

1. O.k copy all the files to a folder label it slus_20151
   now highlight all the files right click go to properties and uncheck read only
   click apply o.k...
2. Now to do some ripping. Looking at the files you see our most likely candidate
   you guessed it (bgmpack.bin)(((now using the ps2 demo cd go into the klonoa 2 folder and copy the file bgmpack.bin))) and paste it in the folder you just deleted the original from the sound for the game is actually only 55 meg not 630 meg
3. lets check the slus for any dvd checks open up hex workshop and search for the string 0200 0424 there are a ton of them but we only need worry about 2 in particular
   the offsets are
   0006bc7c
   0006bcc4
   change the 0200 0424 to (0100 0424)
   now save and close.
4. Now open up cd dvd gen and create a new cd master disc disc name slus 201.51
   next create a folder in the root labeled " M " go into the folder here is the file order

   OK NOW GO BACK TO THE ROOT OF THE CD IN CD GENERATOR

   BGM000.AC3
   BGM001.AC3
   BGM002.AC3
   BGM003.AC3

   NOW CLICK ON THE VOLUME TAB IN CDDVD GEN RIGHT CLICK ON THE FIRST FILE WHICH SHOULD BE
   INET.IRX CHOOSE LOCATION ENTER (316) THIS IS THE LBA ADDRESS OF THE FIRST FILE
   NOW EXPORT THE IML FILE TO THE ROOT OF YOUR HARD DRIVE i.e C:\KLONOA.IML NAME IT WHATEVER YOU WANT I'M EASY...




5. Now from the dos prompt type the following

   cd\ this puts you in the c:\ directory

   iml2iso c:\*.iml c:\*.iso (where the star is the name of your iml file
   if your following my example the following will suffice
   iml2iso c:\klonoa.iml c:\klonoa.iso
   ..

6. now open cdrwin record an iso xdrom-xa, mode 2, and check close session, write postgap

   finished sit back and enjoy this sweet game
   props out to gokun, superlinux and creaturez without there help i wouldn't be ripping dvd's
