Hi all! Long time, no mail! I've taken a brake for the holidays.
Happy New Year and happy belated holidays! Anyway, here's a short
review of what last year.
- WetSpot II released, contained great graphics, sound
effects, and ever more stunning, MIDI music
- Many new versions of the best MIDI player for QBasic,
QMidi were released by Jesse Dorland, a blessing for
QBasic Programmers every where!
- Milo Sedlacek passed away, he was the creator of
MonoSpace, a great space-shoter.

- The ABC (All Basic Code) opens up a new site to replace
both the Canadian and US archives. It is maintained by
William Yu, creator of the ABC packects.

This is just a short list of the things that happened last year.
Please send me other important QBasic events that you know of so
that I may compile a list on the next issue. I am also looking
for what you thought was the best new game of 1998. Also a list
of what you are working on or planning for 1999. Have a safe and
fun new year!
