Summary:
The LISA teacher notices a probable depression of the child and sends a notice to the parents. It seems that nothing in the Simpson home can make the child smile again. One evening, LISA escapes from the window, to follow music that she hears in the distance. Meet Gingiva Sanginanti Murphy, excellent saxophonist, who teaches her how to express melancholy through the sax. MARGE, the following day, advises her daughter to smile in spite of what she feels, her classmates make fun of her, the mother retraces her steps and tells her daughter to be herself. Hearing these words, LISA smiles again. In the evening, the Simpsons go to a club to hear Murphy, who plays a piece of blues written by LISA.
