Feuerzangen Bowle (Hot Red Wine Punch)
Our “Feuerzangen-Bowle”, a Strong hot red Wind punch, is Made to a well-Tried family recipe.
We take good quality red wine, fine spices and a robust rum (54% alc.)
The, following an old tradition, a sugar/cone is soaked with the rum and placed over the red wine.
The rum-soaked sugar/cone is lit allowing hot rum and melted sugar to drip into the pot, where it infuses with the red wine and spices.
This unique process produces the special flavour of the „Feuerzangen/Bowle”, which is now ready to drink.
This most German of beverages has become world-famous through the classic 1940’s film “Die Feuerzangen-Bowle” starring “ Heinz Rühmann“
