Cava usai beach
The beautiful beach of cava usai, near villasimius.
In front of the beach, on the top of the mountain there is a strange construction. What building is it?
The Cava Usai , known in the past as Sa Cava Manna , consists of two buildings, very close to the sea: the larger was once was the manor house, the smaller the caretaker's house. The two buildings precede the entrance to the actual quarry, where the extraction points of the granite and the rails to bring the stones to the loading points at sea are still visible.
The water is crystal clear
There are also many butterflies :)
At the end of the Sommer is easy to see the Papilio butterfly, also known in Italy as "Macaone" . The most common butterfly is the Papilio Machaon , present in almost all Italian regions. In the islands of Sardinia and Corsica there is an endemic species: the Papilio Hospiton .
