Namastè
My comprehension/ comments on Namaste ðŸ™â¤ï¸ðŸ™ . . . !!
The sanskrit word 'Namaste' is one of the 'non-translatable sanskrit' words. Exact transition is not possible – it is not just a 'hallo'; it has much deeper meaning !
Grammatically, Namaste (नमसà¥à¤¤à¥‡) is euphonic combination (सनà¥à¤§à¤¿) of two words: Namah (नमः) and Te (ते).
- Namah (नमः) = A timeless sacred and deeply respectful bow down (to somebody/ someone/something) in reverence with hands in 'anjali-mudra'. . . .
- Te (ते) – In grammatical parlance it is,
- Singular "dative case" of You (यà¥à¤·à¥à¤®à¤¦à¥) in 'All the Genders'; [[ meaning thereby, "I sacredly bow down in deep reverence with profound respect to 'You' with my hands in 'anjali-mudra'. . . . "]]
-
Plural "nominative case" of That (तदà¥) in 'Masculine and Neutral Genders';
[[ meaning thereby, "I sacredly bow down in deep reverence with profound respect to 'All Those (beings in the realm of 'Real') with my hands in 'anjali-mudra'. . . . "]] -
Dual "nominative and accusative cases" of That (तदà¥) in 'Feminine Gender'
[[ meaning thereby, "I sacredly bow down in deep reverence with profound respect to 'Those Feminine energies (Shakti/ शकà¥à¤¤à¤¿ – creative/ destructive; pair-of-two (दà¥à¤µà¤‚दà¥à¤µ)), in the realm of 'Cosmic creation' with my hands in 'anjali-mudra'. . . . "]]
