  • I gave him a present/gift for his birthday
  • He gave me an expensive gift. (perche' gift mi sembra piu' caro)
  • Can you bring me back a present?

  • Un film: "the girl with all the gifts"
  • She has a wonderful gift - she can sing beautifully.
  • She gave me a gift card to spend in my favourite shop.
  • I love buying my family presents in the gift shop.

Come verbi, gift significa regalare e "to present" significa mostrare/presentare

  • I presented my ideas to the team.
  • He gifted me with a diamond watch.
