Let's go for a subject not more original than the rest of my zine...
But here there are a few changes, because about the Black Box, I don't agree with everybody.

First of all, a black box is a small cheap assembled device that you put in a black box to not deviate from the rule. It is used to establish a free communication with the guys who call you.

It works quite simply:
When you pick up the phone, it has an impedance of 1000 Ohms which becomes a resistance of 700 Ohms. This change announces a line tap at FT. The black box is then a resistance of 2 KOhms which decreases the impedance of the system. (Many say 1.8 KOhms but I say 2, nah!!) The new impedance is enough to use the line without FT noticing.

But as I said in the warning article, you can't play with this indefinitely.

Here is the schematic of a black box:

Phreaking: black box
Pin it

Note that the color of the wires is respected and that the Led is completely optional. Anyway, it does not work.

Well, don't forget my warning, and solder well...
