Tutorial reset glitch xbox slim (MATRIX glitch V2)

Materials needed

40W soldering iron
Tin, preferably a thin one
Wire between 28 to 32 AWG to be used in sensitive spots
16 to 22 AWG wires to be used in points such as VCC, GND and others
Isopropyl
alcohol + cotton swab
Solder paste (not mandatory)
Cutter
pliers
Double-sided tape
Insulating tape or hot glue
Tweezers to hold the wires (Not compulsory)
Matrix Spi Nand programmer or any other method to program NAND memory
Matrix Glitcher v2 or Coolrunner (we will use Matrix Glitch V2)
USB stick with at least 1 GB of memory.

Required software

NandPro V2 SPI Programmer
Drivers
XEBuild GUI V 2.02
Rawflasher

Necessary Care (Read this, learn from my mistakes :P )

Do the service with 2 feet on the ground barefoot and before starting hold the console housing and count to 10.
After soldering the wires at the soldering points avoid force them or move them.

Do not keep the soldering iron on a soldering point for more than 5 seconds. Keen the Tin wires away from the board to prevent solder splatter from falling on the contacts.

Do the process calmly and without distractions.

Avoid handling the motherboard by the console heatsink.

Avoid putting your hand on the console chips or other sensitive regions. And if you have religion or believe in God ask him to protect you.

Step 1: Installing the SPI Programer drivers

(If your operating system is 64 Bits please disable the signature of drivers when you turn on the pc)

A - Connect the Spi Programer to the PC and wait for the PC to recognize the device.
B - Go to Start, right click on Computer and click Properties.
C - Then go in device manager and check if appeared "libUSB-Win32 Device" and with a yellow question mark in Memory Access.
D - Right-click Memory Access and click Update Drivers.
E - Click on the "Browse computer for driver software" option.
F - Select the folder where you extracted the drivers from SPI Programmer and click OK.
G - Wait for the drivers to install and go to the next step.

Step 2: Soldering the wires in SPI Programmer and XBOX 360 SLIM board

(The GND wire can be soldered into the housing of the XBOX 360 SLIM)

A - After all wires are soldered, check that none of them are shorting each other.
B - Plug the SPI PROGRAMMER into the PC's USB port.
C - plug the power supply into the console with the power plugged into the outlet (DO NOT TURN ON THE XBOX ONLY LEAVE IT IN THE POWER SUPPLY)
D - If everything is OK the SPI Programmer will have a red LED on, let's go to the next step.

Step 3: Extract Backup from NAND memory: (Be careful with this)

A - In Start we will click on EXECUTE (or in the start menu search) and we will execute the command "CMD
B - In CMD we will locate the folder where to be the NANDPRO V2, then imagine that it is on the desktop then do as and image below:

C - After we are already in the NANDPRO folder we will run the following command to perform the extraction: "nandpro usb: -r16 nand.bin".

D - After the process is finished repeat the following command: "nandpro usb: -r16 nand1.bin"
E - With finish, we will compare the two backups to see if there were no problems with the extraction, we will use the
command: "FC nand.bin nand1.bin /b"

F - If it appears "FC: no difference found" the extraction is OK, do not close the window, then we will go to the
next step.

4.1 Step 1: Creating image "image_00000000.ecc"

A - Let's open the program XEBuild GUI 2.02
B - In "Source File" we will choose the Backup of the nand that we extracted earlier.
C - In "Output Patch" we will choose the location that we will save the image_00000000.ecc, preferably inside the NANDPRO folder.
D - Under "Build type" select 'ECC'.
E - On "MotherBoard" select "Trinity".
F - Now click on "Generate hacked image".
G - Wait for the message "The APP has now finished" to appear and let's go back to CMD to save the image_00000000.ecc in the console.

4.2 Step 1: Save the Image_00000000.ECC in the Console

A - With CMD Open already in NANDPRO folder, let's follow the steps.
B - Type the command "nandpro usb: +w16 image_00000000.ecc"
C - Wait for the process to finish as shown in the image below:

D - When the process finishes disconnect the console from the source, disconnect the Spi Programmer from the USB.
E - Remove the SPI Programmer from the XBOX 360 SLIM board, we will no longer use it from now on.

Step 5: Installing Matrix Glitch V2

A - Do not leave tangles of leftover wires.
B - Make good welds with little tin.
C - After soldering each point secure the wire well with hot glue or insulating tape.
D - Do not stay too long with the soldering iron on the plate.
E - Avoid tinning the wires on top of the board (I did this in the video but I'm crazy)
F - Do not pass wire over GPU, HANA or any other BGA, it prevents oscillation.
G - Avoid putting chip on BGA, or SMD.
H - Use coarse gauge wire in VCC and GND.
I - If your experience with welding is good, repeat the same with points A, B, D, E.
J - In C Stitch use a thinner gauge yarn and be very careful with this stitch.
L - Use a 50cm length of yarn, at point A and decrease the yarn until the boot is nice and stable.
M - After making all the welds check that they are not generating short with other components.
N - In case you want to use AUXILIARY places as for example a point "Reserve" of point C please go to the file FIX AND ALT XBOX SLIM POINTS.
O - If you have not taken care and screwed some welding point, do not cry go to the file "FIX E Pontos ALT XBOX SLIM" there you will find the solution.

(GND CAN BE SOLDERED AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO TO THE METAL PARTS OF THE PLUGS ON THE BOARD)

Q - If all of the above was followed then we can move on to the next step and upload the XELL LOADER, if it doesn't start please go to FAQ section Problems and Solutions Reset Glitch.

Step 6: Uploading the XELL Loader to note the CPU-KEY

A - After the console has loaded the XELL Loader, we will write down the CPU-KEY on a piece of paper.

B - With the CPU-KEY in hand we will go back to the PC to create the Hacked NAND.
C - Leave the console Powered On with XELL already booted.

Step 7: Creating a Hacked Nand from your CPU-Key

A - Let's open the XEBuild Gui V2.02
B - In "Source File" we'll load the backup of our nand.
C - In "Output Path" It does not matter where you save.
D - In "BIN Name" Rename to nandflash.bin
E - In "Build Type" Select "GGBoot (Freeboot for Glitch)"
F - In "CPUKEY" We will write our CPU-KEY.
G - In "Kernel Version" we will choose the version of the dashboard that was our console, if it's before 2.0.14699.0, you can choose the 2.0.14699.0 without problems because in slims by the tests I did this is the most stable version for the glitch, if it's after 2.0.14699.0 choose according to the version of the dashboard that was the console before we started the process.
H - In "Misc Options" disable everything like there is no tomorrow.
I - In "Special Patches" enable the option "Disable FCRT.bin Check".
J - Click on "Generate Hacked Image".
L - Wait for the message " ****** The app has now finished! ****** " appears and let's go to the next step.

NOTE: Depending on the version of the dashboard you choose the program may ask you to authorize him to download the necessary files, authorize and wait for the download to finish, after that click again on "Generate Hacked Image".

8^th Step: Using Rawflash to record DashHacked on XBOX (last step)

A - Take the USB stick and format it to FAT32.
B - Go to the folder where you saved the Nandflash.bin file and drop it to the USB stick.
C - Unzip RawFlash into the USB stick along with the file Nandflash.bin.
D - Put the pendrive with the XBOX Connected and Xelloader already loaded, and wait for the same recognize.
E - Xell will write the image from the flash drive to the console nand like the image below:

F - Wait for the completion of the process and the message "image Written, Shut down now!" appears
G - After that just turn off the console, remove the pendrive and reconnect it again.
H - Ready your Xbox will be automatically logging into the Hacked Dashboard, ready Glitch Reset complete.
