Did you know that the 1st of September is known as Back to Hogwarts Day in the Wizarding World calendar?
That’s because this is the day that the students visit Platform 9 3/4s at King’s Cross Station to return to Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express
Every year, the 1st of September, the King cross station made a special train announcement in honour of Harry Potter
The event takes place in zone 1, at 11.00 AM the 1st of September.
The train to Hogsmeade is announced, and shows up on the departure board at 11am on 1 September, the date and time the Hogwarts Express departs from platform 9 ¾, followed by a rendition of the Harry Potter theme tune — officially called Hedwig's Theme — by composer John Williams.
