The HomeCraft Personal Journal is distributed as shareware. As a result it will be available through 1000's of BBS's, shareware disk vendors, and information services around the world. And unlike normal magazines, which are on the news stand for only a month or so, the HPJ will stay in circulation - reaching new readers for several years!
Yes! With an ad in the HPJ you could bring your message to millions! To be truthfull I have no way to determine exactly how many people will read the HPJ. There is no way to track, in particular, the BBSs that will carry the HPJ and the number of downloads they have. I can say, however, that we will make sure that it receives extensive BBS and disk vendor distribution, and it will be available to millions of people. We will also be supporting the HPJ with press releases and a publicity campaign, so that people not familiar with shareware will hear about the HPJ and have the opportunity to get their own copy.
The HPJ offers a variety of ways to advertise. You can place a color PCX image in an article, or have it included as a part of the introductory or closing screens. We also have a classified ad section.
PCX image ads are available as 1/4 screen, 1/2 screen or full screen ads. The front and back cover ads must be full screen ads.
The costs for PCX ads are. These prices do not include the creation of artwork. Your ad must be supplied to us as a PCX file that uses the standard 16 color EGA palette.

Classified ads cost $1.50 per line and each line may contain up to 70 characters. (We add the border at no extra charge).
