I sent that file to you last year, and it is in your Ghost research
files area. (???? scratching head ????). THat is from "Life Beyond
Earth and The Mind of Man"
a NASA publication on the first public
symposium held at Boston University on 11-20-72 on SETI and the Search
for Extraterrestrails. So what/why did it get put there?

Hi Linda. The banner on the deck of the Furuseth appears to say
"Sailors' Union of the Pacific". The ship belonged to Matson Steamship
Lines, San Francisco based, thus the union local would have been west
coast. Of course, Allen/de joined the ship's company on the East
Coast.

Oran is a port in North Africa that was used for resupply of the
Allied North Africa campaigns (against Rommel -- the first Allied
effort against Germany that included American land forces). Later,
Oran figured prominently in the resupply of the invasion forces aimed
at Italy. The Furuseth made at least two voyages with convoys to Oran
during 1943-44, according to the engineer's log (the only surviving
logbook, per Richard Moore).

The file you describe sounds interesting! Hope to see it sometime. I
can send you a copy of the Harris paper if you like. Just leave a
mailing address here (in email?) and I'll mail it off!

Hang in there. Spring's coming.

Best,
Clark

Linda!

Thank you for your observation on Mr. Phillip Klass's sideline in
legal harassment. Activities like threatening legal action against
universities that sponsor alternate technology symposia are EXACTLY the
sort of things that make me wonder about Mr. Klass.

Techniques like these, used first by leftist activists and now adopted
by groups like Accuracy in Media and Accuracy in Academia to eliminate
forums for debate. Nothing like a specious, multimillion dollar
lawsuit to chill discussion, eh?

Some people here have observed that Klass seems unlikely to be a really
inspired government hatchetman. Assuming that he would not have
threatened to sue if he wasn't prepared to sue (and suing people is
easy and fun), then we must assume that he has resources to institute
suit outside of his home area of Washington.

Does anyone else know of Klass legal threats or Klass suits?

MC> To All CIS and ParaNet members:

MC> This file is uploaded exactly as I received it. The file came to
MC> me unsigned and in the proverbial brown paper envelope. The text
MC> was postmarked from Canada, and it had no return address. In the
MC> file you will see reference two photo's that were included. What
MC> these were: a xerox of an aerial photo of the Carp, Ontario region
MC> and a very poor xerox of what was supposed to be an alien. No
MC> detail was observed. Just a poor shot of what appeared to be a
MC> "Grey". All in all, this is extremely "suspect" and the only
MC> reason that I uploaded it was that there had been much comment
MC> regarding it, not only here but on ParaNet. So:
MC> read it at your own risk.

MC> Don Ecker

MC> *****************************************************************

MC> The Alledged C/R of the 11/89 "Alien Starfighter"

MC> Canadian and American Security Agencies are engaged in a conspiracy
MC> of silence, to withhold from the world the alien vessel seized in
MC> the swamps of Corkery Road, Carp, in 1989.

MC> UFO sightings in the Ontario region had intensified in the 1980's,
MC> specifically, around nuclear power generating stations. On Nov.
MC> 4, 1989 at 20:00 hrs Canadian Defense Dept. radars picked up a
MC> globe shaped object travelling at phenomenal speed over Carp,
MC> Ontario. The UFO abruptly stopped, and dropped like a stone.

MC> Canadian and American Security Agencies were immediately notified
MC> of the landing. Monitoring satellites traced the movements of the
MC> aliens to a triangular area. (see aerial map) off Almonte and
MC> Corkery Roads.

MC> The ship had landed in deep swamp near Corkery Road. Two AH-64
MC> Apaches and a UH-60 Blackhawk headed for the area the following
MC> night. The helicopters carried full weapon loads. They were part
MC> of a covert American unit that specialized in the recovery of alien
MC> craft.

MC> Flying low over Ontario pine trees the Apache attack choppers soon
MC> spotted a glowing, blue, 20 metre in diameter sphere. As targeting
MC> lasers locked-on, both gunships unleashed their full weapon loads
MC> of 8 missiles each. All 16 were exploded in proximity bursts 10
MC> metres downwind from the ship.

MC> The missiles were carrying VEXXON, a deadly neuroactive gas which
MC> kills on contact. Exposed to air the gas breaks down quickly into
MC> inert components. Immediately after having completed their mission
MC> the gunships turned around, and headed back across the border.

MC> Now the Blackhawk landed, as men exploded from its open doors. In
MC> seconds the six man strike team had entered the UFO through a 7
MC> metre hatchless, oval portal. No resistance was encountered. At
MC> the controls, 3 dead crewman were found.

MC> With the ship captured, the US Air Force, Pentagon, and Office of
MC> Naval Intelligence were notified. Through the night a special team
MC> of technicians had shut-down and disassembled the sphere. Early
MC> the next morning Nov. 6, 1989 construction equipment and trucks
MC> were brought into the swamp. The UFO parts were transported to a
MC> secret facility in Kanata, Ontario.

MC> As a cover story the locals were informed that a road was being
MC> built through the swamp. No smokescreen was needed for the
MC> military activity as Canadian forces regularly train in the Carp
MC> region. Officially nothing unusual was reported in the area.
MC> Although someone anonymously turned in a 35mm roll of film. It was
MC> received by the National Research Council of Canada, in Ottawa.
MC> The film contained several clear shots of an entity holding a
MC> light. (see photo) At this time the photographer is still
MC> unidentified.

MC> The humanoids were packed in ice and sent to an isolation chamber
MC> at the Univ. of Ottawa. CIA physiologists performed the autopsies.

MC> The reptilian, fetus-headed beings, were listed as CLASS 1 NTE's.
MC> (Non Terrestrial Entities) Like others recovered in previous
MC> operations, they were muscular, grey-white skinned, humanoids.

MC> The ship was partially reassembled at the underground facility in
MC> Kanata. Unlike previous recoveries this one is pure military.
MC> Built as a "Starfighter" it is heavily armed and armored. In
MC> design no rivets, bolts, or welds were used in fastening, yet when
MC> reconstructed there are no seams. The UFO itself is made up of a
MC> matrixed dielectric magnesium alloy. It is driven by pulsed
MC> electromagnetic fields generated by a cold fusion reactor. All
MC> offensive capabilities utilize independently targeting electronic
MC> beam weapons. In the cargo hold were found ordnance racks
MC> containing fifty Soviet nuclear warheads. Their purpose was
MC> revealed by advanced tactical/combat computers located in the
MC> flight deck.

MC> Threatened by recent East-West relations, and the revolutionary
MC> movements within itself, Red China is preparing for the final
MC> ideological war. The aliens have agreed to defend China from the
MC> free world's combined military and nuclear forces.

MC> At this time China is arming the Middle East with their own nuclear
MC> arsenals, in order that they can successfully take on Israel.
MC> Unifying the Arabs under one Chinese command was simple, especially
MC> with Israel's recent "iron fist" attitude toward occupied
MC> territories.

MC> The Soviet warheads found in the UFO were destined for Syria. CIA
MC> operatives in the Middle East have noticed huge movements of
MC> Chinese "technicians" and "advisors". China is also supplying the
MC> Arabs with bacteriological agents, Migs, Hind gunships, tanks, and
MC> missile launchers.

MC> The use of "Soviet" instead of "Chinese" nukes is part of a
MC> disinformation campaign to break up East-West relations after the
MC> annihilation of Israel. The Warheads were hijacked from Soviet
MC> subs in the Dragon's Triangle. A section of alien controlled
MC> Pacific once frequented by Russian subs. After losing some 900
MC> high yield warheads and 13 vessels, commanders were ordered to
MC> steer clear of the area.

MC> The most important alien-tech. find were the 2 milimetre, spheroid,
MC> brain implants. Surgical inserted through the nasal orifice the
MC> individual can be fully monitored and controlled. The CIA and
MC> Canadian Govt have actively supported mind-slave experiments for
MC> years. Currently the Univ. of Ottawa is involved in ELF wave mind
MC> control programs. A continuation of the CIA psychological warfare
MC> project known as MKULTRA, started at the Allen Memorial Institute
MC> in Montreal.

MC> Using ELF signals transmitted at the same wavelength the human
MC> brain uses, the researchers could subliminally control the test
MC> subject. The alien implants utilize the same principles except
MC> that the whole unit is subminiaturized and contained in the brain.
MC> Fortunately the implants can be detected by magnetic resolution
MC> scanning technology. All individuals implanted by the aliens are
MC> classified as ZOMBIES.

MC> The ZOMBIES have been programmed to help overthrow Mankind in the
MC> near future. When China finishes with Israel it will invade
MC> Europe. At the same time Chinese spacebased bacteriological
MC> weapons will be launched at the Arctic. The winds will carry the
MC> diseases into Russia and North America. In days 100's of millions
MC> will be dead, survivors will have to deal with Chinese, aliens, and
MC> the ZOMBIES.

MC> The aliens want all out war so that human resistance would be
MC> minimal, when they invade. They tried this same tactic once before
MC> with Nazi Germany. Most of the scientific advances we have today
MC> came from German science which was based on alien technology. Had
MC> Hitler won the war, the earth would have become a concentration
MC> camp.In order to depopulate the continents for the aliens.

MC> Data aboard the sphere explained why the aliens are so comfortable
MC> on our world. They preceded man on the evolutionary scale by
MC> millions of years; created with the dinosaurs. Some 675 million
MC> years ago an interdimensional war destroyed most of their
MC> civilization, and forced them to leave the earth. Now they have
MC> chosen to reclaim what was once theirs.

MC> The alien forces with their Chinese and Arab allies will attack
MC> within the next 5 years. Waiting longer than that would make it
MC> impossible even for the aliens to reverse the ecological damage
MC> inflicted on the Earth by Man.
MC> *****************************************************************
MC>
Makes an interesting beginning for a book! I am suspicious that such
aliens would play around with earth people, expecially to the extent of
pitting nations against each other. If this stuff was true, the people
of the earth had better be told the truth, and fast, by their
respective goverments.!

Canadian Pounce
Thanks to Don Ecker for posting that very curious upload in Info-
Paranet Newsletter 185 about that alleged Canadian "pounce."

I find it intriguing from several points of view, and note the
presence a number of elements that smell of "generic hoax." For
example,

a) A source who somehow magically knows many of the complex and
presumably ultra-secret details from many levels and different points
of view simultaneously...

b) Technospeak founded on popular buzzwords ("matrixed dielectric
magnesium alloy,"
"pulsed electromagnetic fields driven by a cold
fusion reactor,"
ELF technology [which, by the way, doesn't seem well-
matched to ultraminiaturization] etc.)..

c) Invocation of well-known details from other types of cases (this
"starfighter" just happened to be carrying a supply of brain
implants!)

d) Generalizations such as "Most of the scientific advances we have
today came from German science which was based on alien technology."

e) Information that just happened to be lying around (on board this
particular, specialized craft?!) that explains " why the aliens are so
comfortable on our world. They preceded man on the evolutionary scale
by millions of years; created with the dinosaurs... etc."
and goes
on to reveal further historical details... and also happens to explain
(In English?) exactly where the warheads in question were destined,
i.e., Syria, and *why*!

f) Details that don't seem to jibe, for example "muscular" grey-white-
skinned reptoids, like "others recovered in previous operations."
Huh? Hm.... never heard these types described as "muscular" before...

g) Carelessness. You'd explode gas missiles *upwind* of the target,
not downwind.

h) Borderline-absurd details that happen to support other allegations
-- such as "Advanced tactical/combat computers" from which we were
somehow able to extract the "purpose" of the Soviet warheads. Never
mind that the alleged warheads were said to be *in transit to Syria*
and not part of the armamentarium of the craft itself.

... and more.

Of course it might essentially be true, but poorly reported, or
embroidered along the way for one reason or another, or... well, who
knows?

Jim: I don't know where Morris's statement originally appeared;
I read about it in one of the accounts of the court cases.
It might be in "The Genesis Flood," the book that launched Neo-
Creationism in the 1960's. The other remarks are from my own
conversations with Fundamentalists.
I've tried the "There are many mansions in My Father's
House"
argument on F's as evidence that the Bible does not
preclude a "plurality of inhabited worlds," but was told that
my theology was wrong.
I didn't mean to imply that the Christological arguments
are convincing to all X'ians. Many non-F mainstream denominations
have no trouble with the possibilities of ET's, though interesting
questions are raised. Some of these appeared in SF stories in
the 1950's.
However, with very few exceptions, most of the deeply
religious people I have met in recent years were
F's. This has been particularly true since I began living in
Houston. Those that weren't F's were mostly Roman Catholics.
I don't know the RC position on the subject. --- John

In Additon to those problems, I'm sure I've seen cheap one piece stamps
that were made on a machine that puts movable negatives together to
make the positive stamp and that were so cheap you could tell it was
made of "parts", just like a movable letter stamp is. I also had
wondered if it might be a moveable stamp when I first saw the documents
but it looked as good as any regular quality stamper to me.

Gee, it's a good thing the aliens haven't caught on to the idea of
using a nerve gas to wipe us out even though thats
what we use on them. I guess it makes more sense for them to engage in
a convoluted waging of WW2.5 with the chinese as the spearhead. WHy do
it the easy way if you can come up with a convoluted paranoid way
instead.

I would be interested in any information anyone would have regarding
unmarked black helicopters, of a military nature. I had a near run in
with one around the end of last week, going up the Mt. Lemmon Rd. near
Tucson. Was not of a make with which I am familiar (and I do know a bit
about aviation and different types of helicopters). It _was_ heavily
armed and displayed no markings of any kind. I have been told that
similar craft are used with UFO investigations (according to a friend
on another BBS who referred me here). Any help would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone know anything about the Tesla society. Any
information on Tesla would be appreciated (a personal long standing
interest). Thanks, I am glad to be here. Please put me on your

Whatever caused the noise on my previous message to you always started
just as I was giving you the details. The interesting part of the
problem is that the man is having problems communicating as well. The
phone company says his phone is working , but it isn't. Now I will try
to tell you again and see what happens. A man in North Ala. filmed a
white sphere while he was chasing the red ball of light that was seen
several days ago. He missed the red light, but got the white sphere
instead. When he and his wife were running back the tape to view it his
mobilehome started shaking and vibrating, apparently quite strongly. He
and his wife went outside where they saw the white sphere 3' over his
house. His phones went dead as well. He was quite scared. Well that was
the basic stuff anyway.
