While driving home from work last night (Wed 22nd Jan) I saw an aircraft
with rather odd lights, and I was wondering if anyone could clarify what
I saw. The full story begins at about 6:30 pm, as I was driving south on the
M1 into London. The sky was extremely clear last night, with good visibility of
early evening stars. At a point about five or six miles outside London, I
noticed a lot of aerial activity - several light aircraft, and a helicopter,
which was intermittently using a searchlight. I would imagine this was a
police helicopter, since they are quite a common sight. There were probably
around half a dozen aircraft flying around the area, and they all seemed to
be circling, rather than actually headed somewhere. Now comes the interesting
bit. I noticed an aircraft crossing the motorway at ~200ft, and the
configuration of lights it showed seemed rather odd - there were two lights,
about 30-40ft apart, which were aligned in the direction of travel, ie at
each end of the craft. One light was red, and the other white, and every couple
of seconds, both lights would flash brighter, and then change colour, so the
red and white were reversed. The lights on this object were quite different to
the more familiar light configuration on the helicopter or the light aircraft,
but seemed about the same intensity when they were not 'pulsing' before a
colour change. The aircraft flew quite slowly over the road, in an easterly
direction. I couldn't make out any shape to the object - all that was visible
was the two lights. As I continued into London, I could still occasionaly see
planes and helicopters, but I didn't see the two-lighted craft again.

Can anyone identify what this strangely lit aircraft could be? I'm not at all
familiar with aircraft light regulations, but I'm sure I've never seen a
configuration like that before...

Thanks for that information. The "Ummo" case is still vivid in France. A
few months ago, a "Directeur de Recherche" -Research Manager- of the CNRS
-National Center for Scientific Research- published a book about that. His
name is Jean-Pierre Petit, and the title of his book must be "Enquete sur
les Extra-terrestres qui sont deja parmi nous"
-Investigation on the ETs
who are already among us-. Here is a summary of that book.

The "Ummits" are so-called ETs who are in contact with several persons,
especially in Spain. They communicate with the contactees via mail, sending
them information about their planet, their arrival on the Earth, ...
The first thing is that they landed on Earth around 1953, which of course
invalidates the possibility of Einstein or even Marx to be one of them.
They have described quite precisely the place where they landed: it is near
Digne in the south of France. JP Petit has been there and found that the
description was so accurate that only someone who had visited the mountains
around Digne could have written it. After that, they spread to Spain, and
several other countries, and began to study our society. In the letters they
sent to contactees, they told about several incidents which happened to them,
and again, JP Petit found articles in some spanish nespapers relating strange
things that have arrived then (like the finding of one the Ummit labs).

The "Ummits" are allegedly quite similar to us, the only difference being that
they have a stain on their body. They live on a planet revolving around a star
that is yet to be identified (it is much like the Sun, G6 class if my memory
serves well), about 15 light years far. Their system of government could be
qualified of "communist". In the letters that contactees receive, there is
not a single trace of humor or metaphor. Still today, people keep on receiving
letters from them (26 years after the first ones !). The only condition for
being chosen is to show interest in the case, by going to meetings with other
contactees for example, and not use the letters for one's own purpose.

It seems that, like in lots of other abduction cases, the contactees have
used the letters for their own publicity. JP Petit asserts that the "Ummits"
stopped writing to them at once. But there are still many meetings around them
with people saying that their parents are ETs, ... (example taken from the
book).

The most interesting thing about that case is that JP Petit has used, or
found inspiration to be more precise, in some
of the scientific material found in the Ummit letters to publish Physics
articles in refered publications. His articles deal mainly with the
possibilities of parallel universes, time, general relativity. JP Petit is
regarded as quite prominent in those fields. He believes that the Ummo letters
can only be written by people having a very extensive knowledge of general
relativity, and physics. I must say that he is very much biased towards
believing in ufos, and he has carried out studies about their mode of
propulsion. He thinks that MHD is bound to be the solution (he is also an
expert in that field BTW). Nevertheless, I personnally think that he has
kept all the characteristics of a good scientist. I am sure that he considers
all that "New Age" stuff as having nothing to do with real Ufology, for
example.

Sorry for not quoting exactly which publications JP Petit made. I left the
book in France, and it will take me time to get it back.

In the discussion of the Endora channeler and good vs. evil spirits,
which involves Don Allen...

Here is the Biblical quote that seems to many to confirm the good of
contact with psychic channels:

'Try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are
gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit
that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.'

All major New Age channels confesseth this. They also confesseth that
there are 'many false prophets gone out into the world.' There are many
cases reported by psychics when obviously malevolent spirits have attempted
to disturb psychic communication, or muddy it. The most common occur when
the Ouija board is used, since it is easy for any spirit (and any human) to
use.

SECRET US AIRCRAFT
The US magazine "Popular Mechanics" in its Dec 1991 issue covers ground
previously discussed in the US Journal "Aviation Week and Space technology" in
late 1990.
Mostly nocturnal observations have been made of several apparent advanced
secret US aircraft.
Type 1:- Several different triangular aircraft in the 60-160 foot wingspan
area. Possibly one of these is the Northrop TR-3A, 42 foot long, 60-65 foot
wingspan. Another is said to be 150 foot wingspan and reported to be able to
turn 90 degrees on its wingtip.
Type 2:- High speed/high altitude-pulsing engine noise plane. Seen as a high
altitude light associated with this noise. Aircraft produces sausage link
shaped smoke/vapour trail.
Type 3:- Black, silent, boomerang shape. 600-800 foot across. Random pattern of
white lights on black underside. Manouvers at 20km/hr, stopping, rotating, and
hovering vertically.
Re type 3, take a look again at the Belgian reports.
a. Mostly nocturnal sightings.
b. Dark, triangular shapes.
c. Large in size, cited as "huge", "massive."
d. Objects hover. "When it began moving it usually moved very slowly, slower
than an aircraft."

e. When objects turn, they turn slowly through 90 or 180 degrees.
Interesting correlation? However, it sounds crazy to suggest that the USAF is
testing advanced aircraft over Belgium. Or is it? Stealth fighters were based
in the UK after 1983 some 8 years before public release. Jenny Randles refers
to UFO researchers having tumbled to some UK UFO cases being stealth before
public release. All comments I've seen about the possibility of secret
aircraft being the cause of the Belgium flap have referred to current stealth
planes, not these observed advanced type 3's.
Any comments?

Unfortunately I find that many UFO researchers have failed to read
some of the above material before relegating the FPP hypothesis as a
potential explanation for some abduction cases to the trash can. In
abductions there is a thread of "alien babies" being removed from
pregnant women. Barber and Wilson relate how two of their FPP hypnotic
subjects fully believed they were pregnant and went for abortions only
to find no evidence of pregnancy. If these women had been investigated
by UFO researchers and not by psychologists chances are the "missing
baby"
file would have had two more cases logged.

Is this fact or fiction:

Recently a man in California caught on video two F-16's being swallowed by what
appeared to be a UFO. The man is currently selling the video (Or has sold) to
television stations around the world. Apparently Unsolved Mystries has
purchased the video -- ??

Also, I need to know this:

What government agenices are currently investigating UFO crashes etc. What is
the agency called that keeps track of all the abductions.

Has anyone heard of the FEMA cover-up? This too would also be a big help.

BTW, I think this is a great forum for discussion, but, too bad everything one
says is being monitored by dozens of federal agencies. Esp. on this newsgroup.

ALSO, Scott and the Red-head, take your discussion else where -- I'm getting
tierd of reading the BS that is being sent out.

don't get me wrong; i don't want to mock your beliefs, but don't place

Subject: OZONE AND MEIER

The "Ozone Layer" was discovered in 1956 by Reginald Dobson during the first
geophysical year. He studied it again in 1957. The measurment system used was
created by him in 1956. The units of measure are called Dobson units. There
has been continued study since then.

When the sun is less active, the layer can get thicker. This happened in the
early 70's. Now the sun activity is up, more sun spots and as you have
noticed more flares etc. This causes a change in the Ozone layer thickness.

According to measurements and current studies, the ozone layer is not thinner
than it has been before. The doomsayers are trying to scare us with biased
information. There is an annual variation of 25% and right now the latest
reports show a 3% depletion. I don't find that very significant or alarming.

The current probe that will measure changes was launched last month. We shall
see more then.

Politicized science is bad science.

I saw your message on UFO echo and it reminded me that people here don't all
wade through the large volume of messages on the fidonet echo. Mike Christol
was making a reference to Meier getting information from Semjase which
suggested that they had knowledge of the problems with the ozone layer,
before we discovered it. The point is that this claim is unfounded since
Meier's report was in the 80's and the above information shows that down here
on Terra Firma, the studies have been ongoing since 1956.

This is not an effort to discredit all the information, but just another
hole in the Meier mystery. As for my personal belief, I don't think Meier's
claims are worth much. I know there are others who think he is absolutly
factual.

more to Miss Kopechne than has ever been told. Her roommate, Carol
Tyler, was killed in a strange and as yet unexplained plane accident
over the sea near the coast of Maryland.

End Quoting...

So, maybe you can add a couple more deaths to the 'related to JFK's
murder' list.

Long ago, many wanted to obtain some material from the Publishers
of the Phoenix Journals without having to pay for their books.

>From a recent newsletter...

Effective immediately the Phoenix Liberator BBS is up and
running. To download information to your computer, simply
dial (with modem) (805)822-1309. The BBS is nonsubscription
and functions at 2400 baud. You'll find information regarding
citizen's rights, state citizenship, Constitutional concerns
and legal insights, conspiracies, and so much more.

I believe UFOs will get some mention as well, but I know nothing else
about it. I barely know how to spell BBS.
Hope this helps/interests the curious among you.

Hi Kay. Well, the rumors are flying and I don't pretend to know what they
really mean.

My suspicious nose [well, let's be kind & call it my advanced pattern-matching
capabilities... :-) ] makes me wonder about the agenda behind this stuff. Where
is the money coming from?? What appropriations? Is it discretionary? At
whose discretion?

The answer could be as simple as: FEMA f*cked up handling the earthquake & the
hurricane and consequently got *more money than it knows what to do with*.

Or the answer could be : FEMA f*cked up handling the earthquake & the
hurricane and used the bureaucratic snafu as leverage to add funding to other
priority projects under NSD-47. Like internment camps for undesirables and/or
barracks for "deputized" National Guard and State police.

The activity here in Jersey centers around large barracks complexes in
extremely secure enclosures.

Best,

Clark
