The note below is a collection of details I have gathered from
speaking to individuals camping out at Alton Barnes and various
people interested in the subject. I have no proof that there is any
truth in the stories but will post the details and let you make your
own mind up over the subject.

Colin Andrews has been long talking about the 'ariel component' of
crop circles and actually went on British TV a few weeks ago and that
he will be doing a 'watch' with the intention of making contact with
this ariel component, what we call UFOs, and will film this.
The location was to be either Hampshire or Wiltshire and the 'event'
would happen betwen the 20th and the 30th of July 1992.
The group of people led by Colin Andrews included Steven Greer and an
American pshycic and with the aid of lasers were to bring the craft
down from the skies and video it. All sounds a bit far fetched but
certain mediums and other crop circle people predicted this would
happen.
The location was to be secret and very mobile and would basically
involved a small group of people meeting in either
Hampshire/Wiltshire and late at night start to beam their laser up
into the clouds. From what I can gather the group were producing
grids and figure of eigths on the clouds in the early hours of the
morning and were waiting for the ariel phenomena to make itself
visible. The went on for a few nights and they were very successful
in what they planned.
On certain nights orange globes were seen to come down from the skies
following the laser beam and virtually touching ground level within
100 yds of the group. These orange lights seemed to split in two and
create other 'probes' which zoomed up and down east field in Alton
Barnes. From what I can ascertain these 'probes' were videod by Colin
Andrews or someone in his group. I believe at some point these globes
of light were 'chased' off by British Army gazelle helicopters.
The whole area was said to have been littered with the army.
The main event happened between 2am and 3am on Monday 27th July. The
group had been videoing the probes and these had duly flown off, the
weather took a turn for the worst and started to rain heavily causing
the group to put the video camera away, they will wish they hadn't.
There was then allegedly only four people keeping watch in the rain
without video cameras, Colin Andrews is not thought to be one of
them, when and I quote, 'A nuts and bolts mothership came up from
behind a group of trees'. This was said to resemble the sort of craft
seen in the 1950s and was metallic in type. The 'mothership' had
supposedly white balls of lights leaving it and re-entering it and
other probes all around it. The craft then 'flipped' up and showed
the lights on the underside of it. These looked like a 'christmas
tree' lights and were of many colours. The craft then 'flipped' back
to its original position and moved back behind view of the trees. But
no-one videod it.
Colin Andrews is reported to have said that 'the deatils will all
come out soon' and I belive some information was given out at the
Galstonbury Symnosis last weekend.
I spent the night on Adams Grave, a hill about East Field Alton
Barnes on Friday/Saturday and saw no probes, only some strange lights
in the distance and some weird group of three white lights in the
sky. These looked and seemd to be satelites by their movement but
they travelled in the shape of an equalateral triangle. I have photos
of both of these so will let you know if there is anything there.
As for the UFOs in Alton Barnes I have no idea if the story is true
but there have been so many people repeat the same information over
and over again. I have tried in vain to contact Colin Andrews but did
speak to one of the people that witnessed the probes, not the
mothership. He said that he has always believed the UFO phenomenon to
be just earthlights, but now he is convinced it is not that and
believes more that he cannot explain what he saw. Hw was visbly
stunned by the event.

I hope to meet up with a guy that saw the mothership and get some
more acurate information on the whole story. One thing that made me
raise an eyebrow is that it has been suggested that George Bush,
President of U S of A will be making a statement on the incident
between August and October 1992. Have no idea if this is fancifull of
what, I guess he may not even be in office then, but one thing is for
sure, SOMEONE STRANGE IS HAPPENING IN WILTSHIRE.
The pshycic that predicted the event and was in the group said that
that was it 'they had gone' and would return to july 1992.

I will keep you posted on any other developments as/when they happen
but one thing is for sure we need some solid information on this as
it has mostly come second hand.
Regards,
Robert

I don't know where the "released in May" information came from,
except from BBSs like this one. The only information I ever picked
up elsewhere was that it had been optioned by Disney, and was in
"pre-production". And a lot of films never make it out of
"pre-production"...

Whenever I've found lists of upcoming releases for 1992/1993 (in the
L.A. Times and on Hollywood-oriented BBSs), I've looked for "Out
There"
, but as far as I can tell there's no release date. I doubt
the film has even been made yet, because except for messages here
and on other UFO conferences, I've seen no Hollywood PR about the
project.

EX-ARMY INTELLIGENCE ANALYST SETS THE RECORD 'STRAIGHT' ON TRIP

NOW HE TELLS US: GHOSTS MADE 'EM GO AWOL -- NOT JESUS IN A UFO

Associated Press

Albuquerque -- When Vance Davis and five of his friends went
AWOL, it was reported that they had gone to a Florida beach to
await the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in a UFO.
No way, says Davis.
"How ridiculous can you get?" he asks. "Jesus Christ is
Jesus Christ. Why would he come in a flying saucer?"

No, says Davis, the reason they left their Army intelligence
posts was simple: Ouija Board spirits told them they were needed
to help lead the world through an impending cataclysm.
For two years, since the six turned up in the Pensacola
suburb of Gulf Breeze, Fla. -- unleashing one of the weirdest
stories of 1990 -- they have remained silent.
But Davis now says he wants to tell his story to set the
record straight and because, according to the Ouija Board, race
riots in Los Angeles were to be a signal the group should go
public.
The six former intelligence analysts, all with top-secret
security clearances, were reported missing from their Augsburg,
West Germany, base on July 9, 1990.
They were arrested five days later after one was stopped for
a broken tail light in Gulf Breeze, a beach town known for
reported UFO sightings.
Two weeks later, they were honorably discharged from Fort
Knox, Ky., after an Army investigation found no evidence the
soldiers from the 701st Military Intelligence Brigade had been
involved in espionage.
As punishment, they were reduced to the lowest rank and
forfeited half a month's pay. Military officials refused to
discuss the investigation.
Davis, originally from Valley Center, Kan., had the rank of
specialist. Others in the group, with ranks and ages at their
arrests, are: Pfc. Michael Hueckstaedt, 19, of Farson, Wyo.;
Pfc. Kris Perlock, 20, of Osceola, Wis.; Pfc. William Setterberg,
20, of Pittsburgh; Spc. Kenneth Beason, 26, of Jefferson City,
Tenn.; and Sgt. Annette Eccleston, 22, of Hartford, Conn.
It all began innocently in November 1989, Davis says.
"We decided to do some experimentation into things," he
says. "We wanted to see if there was something actually to it --
ESP, parapsychology, ghosts, Tarot cards."

Davis says the members of the group "hit brick walls" until
finally they tried a Ouija Board.
"Someone showed up," he says. "I'm talking spiritually."
In the months that followed, Davis says, several spirits
talked to the group, predicting the Gulf War and the 1990 Iran
earthquake.
What they were destined to do, he says, is teach and prepare
people for the coming world chaos.
"This will be the changing of the Earth and Jesus is
involved,"
Davis says. "He will come back, and Rapture (the
fundamentalist Christian belief that believers will be swept to
heaven before the world ends) is real."

Davis says that when the group couldn't find a legal way out
of the Army, the Ouija Board told them, "Leave, just leave."
"We had top-secret clearances and never did anything wrong
in our life,"
Davis says. "Being AWOL was the furthest thing
from our mind."

But on July 3, 1990, they hopped a flight from Munich to
Atlanta, making their way to Gulf Breeze to see two friends -- a
psychic and her housemate who would become Vance's wife, Iris.
After their arrest and release from the Army, the group
split up. Davis, 27, lives in Albuquerque with his wife and
daughter, does odd jobs and gives seminars on "self-sustaining
lifestyles."

"With everything we were told that's supposed to be
occurring in the next five years, we want to be here to help,"

Davis says.
The changes, he says, include numerous earthquakes and
volcano eruptions -- including a major eruption of Mount Rainier
in Washington state -- the devastation of New York City by gas
leak, and food and race riots in every major U.S. city that will
lead to martial law and economic collapse.
"When all this occurs, we'll be gone again," Davis says.

Brent Wilcox inquires about the recent _IUR_ article on
Friedman's Folly (the Gerald Anderson caper):

+ Can you post some excerpts of this article -- the gist of
+ the revelations?

Well, you really have to read the whole thing to get the full
impact of it. It starts with Friedman defending Anderson
against charges (that Anderson is full of BS) articulated by
Thomas J. Carey in a previous issue of _IUR_:

+ Where Anderson's credibility is concerned, Carey ought
+ to have mentioned Anderson's Navy service in an elite group
+ equivalent to the Green Barets, that he ... has many college
+ courses under his belt ...
+ * * *
+ Those of us who have spent time with Anderson have
+ found him to be admirable, honest, decent and church-going.
+ A comprehensive investigation into his background, involving
+ discussions with more than 20 persons who knew him, came
+ up positive.

Then Carey let us know just how "comprehensive" that investigation was:

+ Friedman had promised me transcripts of the Carpenter
+ interviews, but they never arrived. It is interesting to
+ note that Friedman has apparently found, after what he
+ characterizes as a comprehensive investigation, 20 persons
+ who will speak kindly of Anderson. That group evidently
+ does not include any of his former colleagues at Rockaway
+ Beach, Missouri (pop. 300), where Anderson was a police
+ officer and a deputy sheriff. As reported in a 1991
+ issue of William L. Moore's _Focus_, Anderson was known
+ as a "teller of tall tales" by his co-workers; they reacted,
+ we are told, with howls of laughter when asked if "Andy" was
+ considered by them to be the "sober type".
+ * * *
+ Friedman also does not mention Anderson's wife of almost 25
+ years, Peggy Anderson (to whom he is still legally married,
+ though separated). Mrs. Anderson states that he _never_
+ mentioned this story to her during their years together and
+ that she never heard of it prior to its appearance in a
+ newspaper in 1990. She says further that she does not
+ believe it. "I think it's ridiculous," she says. "Knowing
+ him ... it's normal [telling tall tales] for him. ... He's
+ accustomed to stories of that nature. ... He exaggerates
+ on everything. ... He makes up things. ... He fabricates.
+ ... Very few things you can believe out of that man."

Carey went on to discuss how the "elite Navy group" claim never
checked out. He then discussed Friedman's remarks about
Anderson's having "many college courses under his belt":

+ This strikes me as odd when one considers what Anderson
+ told Friedman in the course of their initial telephone
+ conversation: that he has a degree in microbiology.

So, what happened Stan? Did his dog throw up on it?

Subject: "The Dancing Lights"
Date: 5 Aug 92 03:33:00 GMT

Hi! As most of you know, I am a 7-8th grade teacher, and often review
literature and textbooks, etc. before use. Here's an interesting story
in one of the reading books:

Late in 1978, a pilot disappeared with his plane. He had just seen
an unidentified flying object--a UFO. [must be Fred Valentivich, or
something like that]

Later on New Year's Eve, all kinds of people in Australia were seeing
strange lights in the sky. Some TV reporters wanted to look into the
matter. They got on a plane and took off in search of UFO's.

Just after midnight, they found them! Strange, flashing lights
followed them. The lights were also seen by radar equipment on the
ground.

The reporters were smart enough to bring along a camera. For two
hours they took pictures of strange shapes. When the plane returned,
the film was studied.

One group of pictures showed a bell-shaped light. It seemed bright
on the bottom and clear near the top. The film also showed lights
dancing in loops. One light kept changing from a yellow circle to a
red triangle!

There was no way to explain the facts. One of the UFO's traveled
at 3,000 miles per hour! Another was between 60 and 100 feet long.
Its light was thousands of time brighter than any lightbulb.

This was the first time in history that UFO's were filmed at the same
time they were tracked by radar on the ground.

[end]

Perhaps someone in Australia has something to add?

Anyway, I think it is interesting that stories of UFO's are popping
up in literature for children.

Hello everyone,

I have a request! A friend of mine is trying to research a UFO crash
that alledgedly happened around Kingman, AZ in the early 1950's.
He said the approx. date is May 1953, and the Air Force went out to
investigate, and nothing more is known(?) unless some of you know
more from your readings.

Thanks so much for your assistance!

This one does. I remember seeing this report. If I remember correctly, the

at the time and in the direction that they were filming? I could be wrong on

From: ParaNet.Information.Service@p0.f428.n104.z1.FIDONET.ORG (sm)
Subject: Phoenix Project Report
Date: 6 Aug 92 18:17:02 GMT

A few weeks ago, ParaNet received on-line copies of several
documents which purported to come from a previously unknown
organization called "The Phoenix Project". The project is
described in the documents as a "private, civilian, research
organization"
which was "formed in 1952 to investigate and
correlate information"
concerning UFOs and ETs. According to the
information contained in the documents, for a small price one can
receive printed copies of the project's reports, complete with
maps, magnetometer readings, and a host of other supporting
charts and diagrams which serve to make the whole endeavor look
scientific and legitimate.

The documents we received were formulated as investigative
reports on two of the hottest and most controversial issues
within the UFO research community: the underground alien bases
which are said to exist at numerous locations around the United
States, and the cluster of alleged UFO-related projects sometimes
referred to collectively as "Operation Majestic Twelve".
Specifically, the material consisted of three separate documents:

(1) "The Ultimate Secret", originally dated 4 August 1989 and
revised most recently 5 May 1992, purporting to lay bare the
inner workings of the government's secret UFO projects, including
the recovery of alien technology and bodies from crashed UFOs,
the exploitation of this technology by a number of code-named
government projects, and the involvement of NASA and the SDI
program in preparing for conflict with alien invaders;

(2) "The Dulce Report", dated 27 May 1992, describing an on-site
investigation of the Dulce and Archuleta Mesa area in New Mexico,
which purportedly proved beyond any doubt that there is nothing
there of any interest to UFO researchers despite persistent
reports to the contrary; and

(3) "The K-2 Report", originally dated 28 July 1989 and revised
27 June 1992, which purports to document the discovery of a
genuine "secret alien base" in the Pilot Peak area of Plumas
County, California.

ParaNet quickly reviewed this material and posted it in its
entirety for our subscribers, pursuant to the permissions
attached to the material by the publisher. We also posted a
preliminary evaluation which warned that the material might
contain inaccuracies or deliberate disinformation. This
evaluation was based on a number of factors:

(1) much of the information in "The Ultimate Secret" about
Operation Majestic Twelve and associated projects is clearly
related to, and probably derived from, earlier material which has
been dismissed as worthless by almost all reputable UFO
researchers;

(2) much of the information in "The Dulce Report" about Dulce and
the Archuleta Mesa contradicts information already provided to
ParaNet by other capable investigators;

(3) some of the information in "The K-2 Report" is intrinsically
implausible (although, admittedly, not impossible), such as the
claim that a seasoned military intelligence operative "forgot"
his camera when rushing to document a UFO landing site, or that
by the next day that same landing site had been re-sodded by the
aliens to obliterate all the evidence.

ParaNet received the three documents as uploads from a Mr. Jack
L. Mathias of Carson City, Nevada, who represented himself as the
sole public spokesman for the Project. But the reports themselves
name neither the authors of the documents nor the principals of
the Phoenix Project. Instead, they cryptically state that they
are the work of "former military personnel who have all been
associated with intelligence activities, and have knowledge of
covert government operations concerning UFO's"
. Given the sorry
history of anonymous documents and "former" government agents in
the UFO community, ParaNet felt it necessary to start its own
investigation in an effort to determine just who was behind the
Phoenix Project and what their motives might be.

First we sent a letter to the post office box listed in the
documents, asking for further information about the group; but
the letter was not answered. We corresponded by electronic mail
with Mr. Mathias, who represents himself as an agent for the
group, but he refused to provide any of the information we
requested. So much for the direct approach.

Each document formally states that the Phoenix Project logo is a
registered trademark (presumably in the state of Nevada, since
that is where their mailing address is located), so we tried a
query to the Nevada trademark office in Carson City. That office
informed us that the state of Nevada has no record of any current
trademarks under the "Phoenix Project" name. They did say that
articles of incorporation were filed under the name of the
Phoenix Project on 25 August 1988 by a Mr. Thomas Naylor of Las
Vegas, Nevada. However, the corporation failed to file the names
and addresses of its officers by 1 July 1989 as required by
Nevada law, as a result of which the incorporation was revoked by
the Nevada Secretary of State. And so we reached another apparent
dead end, except for one bit of trivia uncovered by a ParaNet
investigator in Las Vegas: An attorney named Thomas C. Naylor had
recently moved into an office building at 2810 West Charleston in
Las Vegas.

Next we contacted the U.S. Postal Service in Carson City, Nevada
to determine the box holder for the Phoenix Project's publisher,
Advent Publishing Company. We were told that the box was
registered to a Richard T. Miller, whose address was given as a
mobile-home park in Carson City. Following this, we contacted the
Clerk and Recorder's office in Carson City, and determined that a
Richard Miller is listed with them as the legal owner of Advent
Publishing. However, the telephone number they gave us for Mr.
Miller has been disconnected, and directory assistance was unable
to provide a new one. Another brick wall.

To this point, all attempts to verify the Phoenix Project's
legitimacy using conventional methods had proved futile, so we
decided to try a different approach. The Phoenix Project
explicitly and emphatically disclaims affiliation with any other
groups using the name "Phoenix". And just to make sure everyone
gets the message, each document states at the beginning that
"[i]n particular, there is no affiliation with a publisher known
as America West, any of its publications, or the individuals
known as George and Desiree Green"
. Unfortunately, ParaNet has
uncovered evidence that these disclaimers may be intended to
conceal rather than to illuminate.

America West, it turns out, is the publisher of a magazine called
the Phoenix Liberator, which carries large quantities of
channelled material alleged to originate with an entity from the
Pleiades known as "Hatonn". The Phoenix Liberator has come under
fire recently from some in the UFO community as anti-Semitic and
neo-fascist. (See, for example, "Hatonn's World: A Neo-Nazi ET?"
by Don Ecker in the July/August 1992 issue of UFO Magazine.) But
"Hatonn" and his defenders vehemently deny the charge, and the
whole affair has been widely and rather nastily trumpeted both on
the net and in print.

It seems that until recently America West Publishers and the
Phoenix Liberator were operated out of Tehachapi, California. But
a few days ago one of ParaNet's subscribers uploaded a response
from "Hatonn" to Don Ecker, which he said he had pulled down from
the Phoenix Liberator BBS; and with it he posted a new address
for the Liberator. That address was all too familiar: 2810 West
Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada--the same building, it
seems, where an attorney named Thomas Naylor also has his new
office.

And then another strange coincidence: A posting coming across the
Internet stated that before "Hatonn" channelled through his
current host, he used to convey his messages through a Mr.
Richard Miller, who started an organization which was known as
the Solar Cross and which was apparently a forerunner of the
Phoenix Liberator. Is this the same Richard Miller who owns the
Phoenix Project's publisher, Advent Publishing Company?

We do not yet know if the Thomas Naylor who tried to incorporate
the Phoenix Project is the same Thomas Naylor who apparently
shares 2810 West Charleston with the new offices of the Phoenix
Liberator. We do not yet know if the Richard Miller who owns
Advent Publishing is the same Richard Miller who reportedly once
channelled "Hatonn". In short, we do not yet know if the Phoenix
Project is truly an independent organization, or merely another
incarnation of America West Publishers and the Phoenix Liberator.
But the coincidences are certainly striking and suggestive. And
in light of this we again urge extreme caution in dealing with
the Phoenix Project material, until such time as a definitive
assessment of the Project's motives and reliability can be made.

ParaNet will keep you advised of our findings as they become
available. If you have any information about the Phoenix Project,
especially regarding its possible relationship with the Phoenix
Liberator or America West Publishers, please send it to Michael
Corbin by Internet mail to mcorbin@paranet.org; by Fidonet to
1:104/422; by U.S. Mail to P.O. Box 172, Wheat Ridge, CO 80034-

the rest will? (statement at the end) Naaah. That's loading it up front with
a real pssibility of civil unrest, and then connecting it to the secret
powers of whoever.

Meanwhile: where are they going to store all that stuff they confiscate, the
dumps are overflowing already. Collecting all equipment for communication?
Like pens and pencils? Take away all shovels, rakes and kitchen knives also.

I haven't even tried and this whole theory is swiss cheese. As usual though
you do come up with some amusing files. Keep it flowing.

A friend called on the phone and asked if I had read the file. We had some
good laughs. I told him not to worry and he said I was talking like I was on
their side. My answer was "That's because I am one of them!" which is
absolutly not true. But you get the twist? Of course I'll tell you not to
worry, that way when we take over... 8*)

At 1:05 am LDSTime august 4th 1992. I observed, traveling at meteoric velocity,
going from the north west to the south east, in an aproximation of a left
echelon formation* spanning about 1 to 1.5 degrees, 5 or 6 dim orangish red
objects. No trail was noted behind them, nor were any sparks seen to be
eminating from them, as one would expect of a meteor. They also appeared to be
wider than they were long. My location is 123 57' west by 49 10' north.

They appeared at the roofline of my appartment, and I get the feeling that I
missed the most spectacular part of their show. I asume that a large meteoroid
entered the atmosphere, broke up, and then 'bounced' off and back into space as
a cluster or 'in formation'. I'm not at all familiar with how to estimate
magnitudes, but would say that they were substantialy dimmer than the majority
of the visible stars I could see, but still bright enough to distinguish with
some clarity.

About a half hour before this, a single meteor was seen traveling from SW to
NE. After putting on a fiery display, it dimmed to about the same magnitude as
the later group did, and proceeded out of sight. I assume this was a 'bouncer'
or 'skimmer' too.

* A left eshelon formation is the equivelent of the left half of a V formation.

Anyone care to confirm my assumptions, or tell me what it was. (propper
nomenclature etc.)

Later,
Stephen.

I don't think I've ever posted anything that has (so far) yielded
the kinds of responses that _this_ has. Part of it has to do with the
message itself and part has to do with with our reactions as individuals.

This very same posting, on Usenet has split off into completely different
gun threads and has been greatly amusing to me to read the evenings
followups :-)

And of course the posting most certainly does sound loony tunes...it
sounds just like one of "Hatonn's" rantings if you ask me :-)

Pretty thin, right?

First of all, I can think of no greater enticement to action
if we were to allow FOREIGN TROUPS,ostensibly sent by the UN
to amass IN our cities for the purpose of "riot control". If
that action is concurrent with the passing of legislation
to remove our Right to Keep and Bear arms....I DO believe
it would hit the fan, for the _both_ of those actions are very
much contrary to the Constituition. But if they even sent in
a million troups to pull something like this off..I just
CANNOT see how the math adds up here..how many of US vs "them" ?

Besides, don't you think the UN is largely ineffectual even in
the Serbian conflict to really do much in the way of sending troups
over here for some "trumped up" reason as riot control? We're
supposing for the sake of argument , that _some_ condition has
happenned..some "new" crisis that only George could pull off
under the guise of his oh so plentiful Executive Orders in the
event of a national "emergency". Could he do it? Why most assuredly.
I don't AGREE as to the posting that "riots" are "planned"..I
don't AGREE to the "timetable". I could LAUGH at the "october
surprise"
part of the "UFO unveiling"..we've been hearing this
old canard for a long time now in various "predictions"..I don't
put much stock in that. The "Rockefellers allied with Nazi's"..
uhmmmm..there _might_ be some connections here but I really
DON'T think it's the way it's portrayed in the posting. A
quick check back to the time of WWII does turn up some strange
connections between the Rockefeller brothers and some of their
dealings w.r.t. Standard Oil and IG Farben but that doesn't
appear to me that it's now "blossomed" into being allied with
a full scale "Nazi" plan to take over the world. Of course,
there *are* some real hazy things that could stand more
scrutiny..like FEMA for one. And there has been links with FEMA
to LEAA, an FBI operation with some training programs. I have a
video of "ex"- CIA operative John Stockwell that goes into considerable
background on FEMA and it's operations of creating the "National
Security State"
. It leaves me with a very quesy feeling, and I'm
uncertain as to it's broader scope under UN mandates.

We can all have a good laugh at the posting, and I *did* enjoy
mine most heartily, but it did make me ponder and realize that
these kinds of things *could* happen if we allow ourselves to
be disarmed into giving up our RKBA, and refused to defend our
Constituition. Hell, this is nothing more than tyranny of the lowest
kind and I really don't think that WE would "allow" it to happen
in the first place. What kinds of things could cause this to happen?

We might have this if the economy just flat out crashed..then there
most likely would *be* "riots" as a result. Would this cause the
UN to get involved? I don't know. It appears that the Executive
Branch has done what they wanted to in the way of drafting up
EO's to handle "declared emergencies" (count the times that that
phrase turns up in the "Newstates Declaration") without benefit
of our input nor of the legislative branch. Who has sold out who
here? If you want to know just how much Bush really "cares'..then
listen to him prattle on about nothing but "
The New World Order"..

Re-elect Bush?! You've GOT TO BE KIDDING!

I got your Bucannon here......*|"

Mike:

Great investigative work! When your report finds its way
onto the FidoNet UFO Echo, I'm sure there will be many people
there who will be pulling their hair out and spitting tacks. You
see, you're not supposed to go around asking questions like
that. You're just supposed to believe . . .
believe . . . b e l i e v e . . .

I'm again reminded of the speculation from more learned people
(like Jim Speiser) a few years ago, when people began wondering
out loud about who was really behind all this "
secret government
conspiring against us with the aliens" stuff. The working
hypothesis was: neo-fascist cults. It's beginning to look like
the correct answer. Just keep the heat on and the scum will
always rise to the surface!

Mike:

Something's rotten in Denmark. Every ex-military I've talked to has told me
that desertion results in court-martial, period; and that an AWOL resulting
in anything higher than a general discharge is out of the question.

I suggest someone get on the stick and try to obtain interviews with persons
connected with this story: the wife, the psychic in Gulf Breeze, the cops,
the military at Ft. Benning, ANYONE. This stinks.
