1 unbaked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, evaporated milk, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.
Remove from the oven and allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Serve slices of Grandma's Best Oatmeal Pie with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
