cakkio

Cakkio is a fanzine of comics and strips, available as print and digital version, mainly focused on the web. The ezine was released bimonthly as a "Web Magazine" or with "Books" dedicated to a single author or theme on www.cakkio.it (now offline).

Cakkio was born in March 2004 as a probe for the interest of Trentino students (Italy) in the world of comics, but it was in October of that year that the first issue was released.

The project embraces everything related to drawing as a way of telling a story: from the self-contained one-page comic strip, to the strip series, through vignettes and illustrations. The ezine favor the comic genre because of its immediacy and accessibility even for those who are not comics fans.
