“A son ‘e corru”

Il 5 luglio 1455 re Alfonso V d’Aragona stabilisce che nel Castello di Cagliari possano vivere solo Aragonesi, Siciliani, Valenzani, Maiorchini e Catalani. Per i sardi viene solo consentito di avere una bottega e vendere merci.
Da qui nasce l'espressione “A son ‘e corru” in quanti i Sardi non si potevano trattenere oltre le 20 all'interno delle mura di Castello. Quando cussus dimonius sonanta su corru (quei diavoli suonavano il corno) is casteddaius (i cagliaritani) dovevano uscire fuori. Chi non avesse rispettato questa legge, venivano acchiappati e scaraventati giù dalle mura sulle rocce sottostanti.

Dopo aver compiuto questo atto , pare che si pronunciasse la parola stampax (stai in pace). Si presuppone che poi abbia dato il nome al quartiere sottostante Stampace in sardo Stampaxi.

Neppure io. Ovviamente le fonti di internet sono sempre incerte. Però queste alla fine sono per lo più miti di tradizione popolare. In ogni caso sapevo anche io che anticamente la gente povera doveva lasciare castello al calar del sole
