A long time ago someone asked, on the list, about the availability of
Cloudberry Jam records in the US. According to some info on their homepage
at http://www.lysator.liu.se/~jennie "Going further" has been released
worldwide (I guess that might include the US :-) while "Providing the
atmosphere" is to be released in the US in the middle of August.
On the homepage you will also find some pictures (taken by Jennie Medin)
from the recordings of their next album, "The impossible shuffle", which
will be released late 1997 or early 1998.

Not Lame Records, at http://www.notlame.com, has carried Swedish pop for
some time, and has one of the largest selections in the US that I've seen.
I know they've carried Cloudberry Jam in the past, and they may have some
copies available now.

Hey, I just came back from the 2nd day of the "Pitea dansar och ler"
festival. Saw the Loosegoats play a 35 minute long set of mostly
songs I had never heard before. They didn't play any from their
first record and well, their new material is a bit different. It
was pretty ok, except for the shitty sound quality in the garage
they played. You could barely hear the vocals.
I also saw Abhinanda, but their sxe metal isn't really my cup of
tea. And well, I caught a few songs with Jumper too, I guess it
wasn't that bad..
Yesterday I saw Entombed and Hellacopters, Entombed, like predicted
played "Night of the Vampire". Hellacopters were good too, I don't
really know what else to write about them.
Well apart from that I'd much rather gone to Lollipop, but I guess
it was kind of amusing to see young teenage girls puke in public.
I think I saw it happen 4 times or so, If I don't remember it wrong.
Ahh, that's entertainment!
