I'm sure that most of you TEOAS readers have heard so much about Gun Control from the Main Stream Media over the last decade that its boring to you and seems old hash. But I can assure you that it's not "Old Hash" by any means. Its been debated to death and is still a very active Issue on legislative tables right now. As we discuss this Issue in a bit more detail, and the information that you have gathered from the Media over the years about it, lets keep in mind who controls the Main Stream Media and lets then think about the information that your NOT getting on the subject. Thus the content of this Issue of TEOAS...Lets Look at the Big Picture on the subject, and a little historical fact about Gun Control!

Gun Control My Ass

(Lets look at some facts)

I am very much a recent convert to the importance of our (US) Second Amendment Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Now I am a very strong advocate in this Area. This Issue not only affects US citizens, it affects World citizens as well. Until a person really looks at some History, and the total Big Picture of this Issue, one has no idea of the importance and what is actually involved here. Many people make the same mistake of following the Main Stream Media Blindly and not using there own minds and resources to find the facts on certain matters out for themselves. Americans are very much lazy is this respect. The right to bear Arms isn't a suppressed information Issue, nor is it a new Cultural insight by any means. The debate has been brewing for years and there is masses of information available on the Net. But if your like myself, much of your free time is devoted to underground Haxor related topics. So the "Big Picture" importance of this Issue has never been made clear to you. The main object of TEOAS being to distribute such information to the underground culture.

I am convinced that after I share this TEOAS Issues Content with the readers, that the importance of the Second Amendment with become clear. Now, You already know what Main Stream Media has been saying for years. So lets look at some history, and a few things you'll never see on the 6 oclock news. The purpose of owning a gun is not to be a part of a militia, wear camouflage, and play soldier. The hope is that as long as we enjoy an armed citizenry we will never have to use those guns for anything other than sport. I would rather own guns and never need them than to not own one and wish I had. Lets start with a few quotes from some names that may be familiar to you. These quotes will get you in a mode of thinking about "The Big Picture" for this Issue. And in a way you may have never thought about it before.

1^st Quote...

3^rd Quote...

Now lets look at a few facts, remembering that History HAS PROVERN that History does repeat itself. And wonder if this could be in the future for the US as well. Fact

The Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership group chronicles the relationship between gun restriction, confiscation and the genocide that has taken place around the world. Heres the record. It very much speaks for itself. These are documented historical Facts...not Fiction.

The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. From 1929 to 1953, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Turkey established gun control in 1911. From 1915 to 1917 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1976 20 million Anti-Communists, Christians, political dissidents and pro-reform groups, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945 13 million Jews, Gypsies, mentally ill people and other "mongrelized peoples," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979 300,000 Christians unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977 1 million "educated people," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and executed.

Well...kind of puts things in a new light when you have compiled data at your finger tips doesn't it? This isn't a complete list, just enough so you get the general idea, or "Big Picture" as I like to refer to it as. If you add up the numbers, that amounts to more than 55 million innocent people who have been slaughtered by their own government. The first step was "always" the same--rendering citizens defenseless by restricting or confiscating their firearms. Why chance it? Are we Stupid Cattle?

World citizens are at more risk from their very own government than from all the crime elements in the world combined! Armed citizens has a chance to defend himself/herself against hoods, gangsters or criminals. An unarmed man/woman has no chance at all against anybody, especially an oppressive, tyrannical government.

It isn't the militias that can insure freedom. An armed citizenry is the only force that insures freedom.It is simply the fact that if nearly every home owner is also a gun owner there isn't an army in the world big or strong enough to take the freedom of an armed populace like that, and governments know it!

Contrary to the worldwide belief created by a disinforming news media, the gun confiscation in Australia has not nearly succeeded.

Handguns in Australia have been banned and strictly governed for decades but such statutes have not prevented illegal weapons from entering the country and hitting the streets.

Devious means of importation have been fooling authorities for a long time.There are more guns in the underground in Australia than were ever registered.

Of more than two million known weapons legally in the country, less than 700,000 were voluntarily submitted in the 1996 government buyout. This was provoked by the infamous Port Arthur, Tasmania, mass murder of 35 people and the wounding of scores more by a maniac with an automatic weapon. What followed was a classic textbook example of mass hysteria. Statutes were passed stripping the law-abiding Australians of weapons with which to protect themselves.

The statutes were passed in the several states to buy back the guns with a price set for hundreds of models and to destroy them. For a variety of reasons, most did not comply. The greatest outcry of defiance was heard from the country folks - the farmers and ranchers - who need and use their weapons to protect their crops against the wildlife.

Michael Williams, 65, still has a .22 rifle given to him by his father more than 50 years ago. The sentimental attachment was worth far more than the couple hundred bucks he was being offered, so he never returned the papers. In Aussie lingo, this is saying, "Government, you can just get stuffed!"

Such is the consensus opinion of the gun owners, most of whom don't believe Australia will have the man-power during their lifetimes to enforce this rights-infringing statute. The similarity appears again: Those who don't own weapons think no one else should, either; while those who do mumble, "from my cold, dead fingers."

Gun-grabbing politicos usually proceed on the false premise of reducing crime. In Australia it was no different nor were the results. After the first year, the increases in violent crime varied from slight to dramatic, depending on the area. While assaults were up by 8.6 percent and homicides only 3.2 percent nationwide, armed robbery had increased by 44 percent. In the State of Victoria, homicides with firearms had increased by 300 percent in the first year [1997]...[snip]

If American gun grabbers get their way the results will be no different.
