Tried it last night. I made a wad based at E1M10 and one at E1M11. Loaded
with the -warp 1 10 and ended up at E1M1. Trued IDCLEV111, ended up at E1M1.
Looks like DOOM is limited to 27 levels.

Doom ][ might be a little bit more flexible in this respect.

Does anybody know when Raven plans or releasing a version of Heretic that
WORKS? Heretic keeps crashing, and does not work for 4 player games. I
would appreciate it if somebody knows to please post, I am on DWANGO and no 4
player heretic REALLY sucks. For $50 I would expect the game to WORK!!!!!!

EdMap 1.30 can also do it, just use the command line option to load
the level.

It may just be the way it parses -warp: IDCLEV111 obviously isn't worth
trying at all.

Also DOOM only parses 4 chars for level id (DOOM2 parses 5). Episodes above
3 are likely to confuse Doom sky texture selection, so it looks like you're
stuck with the set number of levels. but then, who'd want more anyway?

Works just fine for me. And we play 4 player all the time. I have
never had a crash yet.

I have the Heretic cdrom (which loads to the disk). The game crashes once
in a while... enought to get annoying. You have got to give Heretic some
time. Remember old Doom v1.2... look how far doom and doom2 have come (1.8)
!!!!! In the future there will be upgrades for heretic. BTW: copy the
Death Manager from doom2 v1.8 to heretic... it works there well. DM v1.1
works v1.0 had a bunch of bugs.

I suggest you get APCIdoom. APCIheretic is soon to come out. I have heard
from more than one person that Dwango is lame and a waste of time. YOU DONT
have to pay for access to APCI... only the phone bill!

I remember some info being posted to the list a while back about underwater
sectors. Is it possible to put a sector underwater.... so when you walk
through it you head will be right at water level... ?
