ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ> About this Infojournal :
First off, this is an Infojournal. Infojournal is an abbreviation for
Information Journal. We chose this because this is not a newsletter (we're not
reporting the news), but more of an informative package designed to inform and
perhaps teach people about something. The reason for this is that there has
been so many useless information past on in groups newsletter, that the whole
concept has become devoid. This is why we are trying a purely informative
letter, rather than clutter it all up with ramblings on our group and other
groups.
This is in no way intended as a magazine either. There are too many out
already, and taken into account the superb job some of them are doing, we
would not feel right to compete. Besides we are not good enough writers to
compete with some of them. However we have left behind the old text file
format, because, considering the amount of information condensed into this
issue, we thought a little presentation would be more suited. But once again
this is not a magazine type programming job with pull-down menus, VGA... This
has no place in a H/P journal, and would simply be a waste of time.
Now this is an Infojournal designed to show the curious about the
information we have gathered over a while. There will most probably be more
issues than this one, but they will not be regular occurrences, as we write
them once we have enough information to put in them. And once again, if you
have any comments/feedback/suggestions for us, please call up one of our
