I'm here to tell you a bit about Abusing for
beginers.Abusing is one of the easies thing to do for the simple
fact that there are so many different things to do.Abusing is a
great way to have fun by doing stuff to others.
First I'll deal with abusing BBSes. If you plan to abuse a
BBS the first thing you should do is find a BBS with a sysop who
you don't like. A good target should have done something to you in
the past. Like if the sysop kicked you off, didn't listen to you
when you wrote him messages(ie. didn't write back[ie.. numerious
times]) or most of all hastled you when you did something wrong.
If I had to chose a board to abuse it would be by far "Where
Eagles Dare" who's sysop is "Big Roy". This sysop has been a
secret nemisis of mine since the day after I got on the board. I
was new to BBSing and wasn't sure what the "Sports Talk" message
area was all about. I sent a message out to someone asking how
they were and the like. It turns out that it was a FIDO echo and
he found the offfending message before it could be sent out. In a
message he gave me some lecture about BBS ethics and behavior and
threated to kick me of next time. I'm the kind of guy who holds
grudges so if ya see BR tell him to watch out.
Well, back to other things, as you see in my story(true) that
if you are affended by a sysop those are the guys you abuse. Now
for some tecniques. I sugest logging in under a fake name . When
chosing a fake name I sugest using a name close to that of the
sysop for reasons descrided later. EXAMPLE: If the sysop is Joe
Blo, log in as Joe Bloo or Joe. Blo. If you perfer another name
that is also fine ( like that of an enimy so he'll take the rap for
the abuse).
The most effective way to abuse is to write net mail
advertising the BBS as a Piratation board because there are cops
out there who read the netmail and might come knocking on the
sysops door. If your alias is a close facsimally of the sysops,
they'll think it's him and it might get him kicked off the echo!
Another way to reak havoc on the board is uploading a virus
changed to look like a comercial game. All will download it and so
will the sysop, screw over all that like this board. Hay, it will
hurt a lot of innocent folks but thats the cost of war( and the
wanted to get a comercial game for free). Hopefully the virus let
lose on the users will cause a lot of hatemail going to the sysop
and if his PC goes down too, you've done your job.
