Homemade Fish Congee #魚片粥 Simplified version

  1. Add rice to boiling water. (The ratio between rice and water depends how creamy the congee you like, I used 1:10 ratio)
  2. Turn low heat and make sure stir the bottom every few minutes to avoid burn
  3. Rinse the fish fillet with salt
  4. Cut fish fillet into slices
  5. Once the congee is ready, add 2 Tbsp of chicken bouillon powder and 1 Tbsp of salt
  6. Turn to high heat and add the fish fillet (you only need a minute to cook the fish for single serving)
  7. Add scallions, shredded gingers and white pepper powder for favor
