::i s s u e   { x 0 6 }:: 

 
::i n i t:: 
  issue x006 is here! this means that the mag is alive, more than a 
  year... which for an emag and specially this time period... its a lot! 
  :) i think that the mag, in every issue is evolving, to something 
  better. each issue brings more innovations and i don't mean only for 
  the diskmag engine. it's also nice to see the whole bbs scene, taking 
  its "ups" at the same time NULL does. i don't know if NULL is 
  responsible for this, or the opposite, but either way it's a good sign 
  for both. 

  one thing that i want to write separately, to give more importance, is 
  the acceptance of the mag, from those that i interviewed. there hasn't 
  been a single person i asked to give an interview for NULL and that 
  refused. it's a 100% success... all people i asked, all accepted with 
  great pleasure and this means a lot to me and for the quality of them 
  and the bbs scene in whole. i think that as we grow from teenagers to 
  mature men/women, so the bbs scene did. you can see it in the networks, 
  in the groups, in the art, in the boards. so we don't have to dream and 
  desire to go back in the past, in the "good old days" of bbsing as we 
  all say... each time/period, has its cons/pros and we are very lucky 
  that we lived in all those, from the start, until the end (?)... :) 

  so a big thank you to all those we take part in making this mag, in 
  every way. even leaving a comment for NULL in some echonet, is like 
  taking part on its evolution and pushing me to make another issue. so 
  we are all in this ;)

  not so much... just a couple of fonts i made. but still pretty cool ;) 
  there is also a logo screen i designed for issue x006. originally i was 
  going to put that for the logo screen, but then "eugene" appeared and 
  draw this fantastic logo you saw! ...and then i found my self redrawing 
  the rest menus and recoloring to match the color scheme of the logo... 
  so a big thanx to him... thank you eugene! 

 
::a r t i c l e s:: 
  if you want to describe the articles of this issue with one word, you 
  can say that they have "variety". short ones, long ones, bbs related, 
  bbs irrelevant... little bits of everything :) 

  there is a tribute article to Mats Birch, one of the members of the JAM 
  format team, who died in May 2019 and some other cool stuff, specially 
  in the tutorials section... don't want to give spoilers... just read 
  them. 

  this time, there are two interviews... if you remember in issue x005, 
  there wasn't one, so i had to catch up ;) two members of the scene, 
  from different parts of it, with different experiences of it and 
  different views. from those interviews you can see both the past and the 
  present of bbsing and more. i would like to thank jack plash and MBR for 
  their patience with me :) and for their contribution in the mag and the 
  scene in general.
